BRET E. CAMPOY

Since 1995, Attorney Bret E. Campoy has been practicing Family Law in Santa Rosa, California. In 2008, he became certified by the State of California as a specialist in this field.

Mr. Campoy graduated with distinction from the University of the Pacific McGeorge School of Law where he was awarded the American Jurisprudence Award in Legal Process and admitted to the Roger J. Traynor Honor Society.

Mr. Campoy is a member of the American Bar Association, the California Bar Association, and the Sonoma County Bar Association. He has also been admitted to practice in federal court.

Mr. Campoy has sat on the California Bar Association’s Support North Committee, which made recommendations to the California Bar Association, and the Sonoma County Family Law Committee, which acts as a liaison between the Court and the Family Law Bar.

Prior to beginning his practice in Sonoma County, Mr. Campoy worked with the Yolo County District Attorney’s Office, the United States District Attorney’s Office in Sacramento, and the Marin Family Law Center.

JOANN CAMPOY

Attorney Joann Campoy has been practicing Family Law since 1997. She is certified by the State of California as a specialist in the field.

Ms. Campoy is a member of the American Bar Association, the California Bar Association, and the Sonoma County Bar Association.

Prior to commencing practice in Sonoma County, Ms. Campoy worked with the Marin Family Law Center assisting people in need of family law services who had limited incomes. Currently, she serves as a volunteer panelist for the Sonoma County Courts and conducts Settlement Conferences for contested Family Law matters.

Ms. Campoy has been appointed by the Sonoma County Superior Court to serve as a private judge. In addition to training in collaborative and mediation practice, she has served as President and Director of Sonoma County Women in Law and was a member of the Sonoma County Family Law Best Practices Committee.

Ms. Campoy has skillfully litigated hundreds of cases. In addition to providing legal services in the courtroom, she provides mediation services to assist families to settle their own disputes.

Ms.Campoy has also partnered with psychologist Jeff Kahn, Ph.D. forming Compassionate Divorce™ to help those going through a divorce or separation emerge with a positive outcome.

Dawn Miller

Dawn is employed as a paralegal for A Family Law Firm, Inc.. Dawn graduated from the Empire College legal secretary program in 1993 and brings to the firm over 25 years of family law experience; she spent 14 years of her career in Marin County and the remainder in Sonoma County.

Dawn enjoys working as a paralegal in Family Law and she has a passion for helping others. She loves assisting clients through what is often one of the most difficult times in their lives.

Chelsea Fletcher

Chelsea is the Firm Administrator for A Family Law Firm, Inc.. She oversees all the administrative functions in the office which includes handling billing and payment matters with our clients.

Chelsea has more than 10 years’ experience working with law firms specializing in Family Law.

She has also acquired a Hospitality Certificate as well as an Associate’s Degree in Humanities from Santa Rosa Junior College.

Chelsea is an active member of the community and volunteers with several non-profit organizations as an event coordinator.

Vanessa Viruet

Vanessa is an Administrative Assistant at A Family Law Firm, Inc.. Prior to joining our office, Vanessa worked as a licensed cosmetologist for four years.

Vanessa was born and raised in Sonoma County and enjoys assisting others in our community.

Paige Hamilton

Paige is a Receptionist/Administrative Assistant at A Family Law Firm, Inc.. Paige graduated from Sonoma State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology. Prior to joining our office, Paige worked at a special education school for emotionally disturbed and mentally ill students.
